ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The NEPAD-IPPF Special Fund is a demand responsive facility, thus grants would be extended on the basis of expressed and identified needs. All Requests have to be consistent with IPPF’s mandate to support the preparation of high quality and viable regional infrastructure projects.
PROJECT SELECTION
All projects must be consistent with IPPF’s mandate to support regional integration. In addition, IPPF favors projects: with a high number of beneficiary countries; that close identified regional gaps and needs; that are ready for implementation, with an ability to attract private sector participation; and with sufficient institutional capacity for implementation.
HOW TO APPLY
All Regional Member Countries (RMCs) of the Bank Group as well as Regional Economic Communities (RECs) and Specialized regional/continental Infrastructure Development Institutions (SIs) are eligible to apply for NEPAD-IPPF Special Fund grants.
